Job summary

Everett Ship Repair LLC in Everett, WA is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Lead to supervise Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters on vessel repair and modernization projects. You will coordinate manpower, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality standards across shipboard piping systems.

The role requires four years of leadership in shipbuilding or eight years in ship repair, strong communication, and the ability to work on ships, read specs, and mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

• Four years of leadership in shipbuilding or eight years in ship repair.
• Knowledge of marine piping systems and shipboard equipment.
• Ability to read and execute work from drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with pressure testing, commissioning, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily efforts of Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters on vessel repair projects.
• Provide direction, assign tasks, and coach team members.
• Meet project objectives for schedule, quality, productivity and cost.
• Review drawings and technical requirements to ensure proper piping work.
• Oversee installation, testing and modification of marine piping systems.
• Ensure tools, materials, permits, and equipment are available.
• Mentor apprentices and support employee development.
