The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pipe fitting and welding, foreman experience, and proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as pipe fitter and welder in industrial or commercial settings.
• Foreman or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Valid welding certifications and pipe fitting licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise pipe fitting and welding crews on various construction and maintenance projects.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
• Perform pipe fitting and welding tasks including cutting, threading, assembling, and installing piping systems.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
• Train and mentor junior pipe fitters and welders.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Document daily work activities, progress, and any issues encountered on site.
