Job summary

EnerStar Solutions is seeking two experienced Pilot Car Drivers to support the safe movement of equipment and oversized loads across our operating regions. This is a part-time, as-needed role with no set weekly schedule, primarily supporting Oklahoma and Texas with possible assignments in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, and other locations as needs arise.

Based in Oklahoma or Texas, you should have documented pilot car escort experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Professional pilot car/escort experience with oversize-load movements.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience as lead and/or chase vehicle.
• Ability to understand routes, roadway conditions, and hazards.

Responsibilities

• Lead or chase pilot vehicle for oversize/over-dimension movements.
• Review routes, permits, and load requirements before movement.
• Identify hazards and communicate with driver and escorts.
• Position and operate the pilot vehicle per assignment as required.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure equipment is ready.
• Monitor road conditions and safety compliance during moves.
