Job summary

Kennedy Care Center is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and document services in medical records. You will communicate with families, physicians, and the health team, and participate in staff in-services.

Responsibilities include supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, training Restorative Aides, and ensuring compliance with state practice acts and payer requirements. A valid Physical Therapy license and current CE credits are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and manuals.
• Strong communication with managers, coworkers and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans.
• Treat patients per physician plan and document progress.
• Supervise PT assistants and trainees.
• Provide staff in-services and training; maintain records.
