Job summary

PACS Group in Apache Junction is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role requires supervising PT assistants, coordinating with nursing staff, and participating in discharge planning.

You will develop treatment plans, document progress, and ensure compliance with state practice act and payer requirements. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with Doctorate preferred; proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain physician approval for services.
• Treat patients per the physician plan and supervise PT assistants.
• Document evaluations and progress notes per regulatory requirements.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver training.
