Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to assess and treat neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems in accordance with physician orders. You will develop and monitor individualized care plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and mentor PT assistants to ensure high-quality rehabilitation services.

The role requires a current New Mexico PT license and BLS, with a 5-day, 8-hour work schedule in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active NM PT license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat neuromusculoskeletal & cardiorespiratory systems as prescribed.
• Evaluate patients prior to treatment and establish goals with patient and family.
• Administer and supervise physical therapy modalities and treatments.
• Maintain and communicate treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with physicians, family, and interdisciplinary team for plan of care.
• Supervise PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants during therapy sessions.
