Job summary

CHRISTUS Health Beaumont seeks a licensed physical therapist to evaluate and treat patients with functional limitations due to disease or injury, using therapeutic exercise and modalities within PT scope.

You will collaborate with hospital staff, supervise PTA and trainees, and develop and adjust treatment plans to meet discharge goals. A PT license in Texas and BLS are required, with ongoing professional growth encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Texas licensure as a physical therapist required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using PT evaluation and treatment plans.
• Develop measurable goals based on assessments and reassess progress regularly.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other therapists; refer to specialists as needed.
• Explain PT role to patients and families; provide home exercise program instructions.
