Job summary

PACS Group in California seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and to develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with the physician.

You will supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, train staff, and ensure compliance with state practice acts while documenting progress and discharge planning.

Strong computer skills (Casamba, Point Click Care) and clear communication with managers, families, and other health team members are essential.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; graduates of Masters or Doctorate in PT preferred.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care data entry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise PT assistants and students; train nursing staff.
• Record evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge plans per state regulations.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team members.
• Participate in in-services and care conferences as needed.
