Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; graduates with advanced degrees preferred.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry in PT software and records.
• Ability to read and interpret medical records and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of physician referral with documented delays if any.
• Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physician.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in direct patient care as per state practice act.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team members.
• Record evaluations, treatment notes, and progress per state and payer requirements.
