Job summary

SPECTRA TECH seeks a Lead Facility Safety Engineer to provide nuclear facility safety support at the Y-12 National Security Complex for DOE facilities. The role requires expertise in hazard identification, screening, evaluation, and selection of engineering/administrative controls, with documentation in safety analyses and technical safety requirements.

The candidate will address DOE-standards and Defense Nuclear Facility SafetyBoard issues, and serve as a lead engineer in Complexes 9212 or

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear safety analysis processes.
• Ability to document safety analyses and requirements.
• Lead safety engineer capabilities in complex facilities.
