Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Physical Security Engineering Manager to lead pre- and post-field support engineering teams across system design, delivery, and operations. You will serve as the primary customer-facing technical escalation and ensure on-time, compliant project execution while providing strong people leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with servers and enterprise network infrastructure; 3+ years managing projects or teams.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL); performance tuning, backup/recovery, HA.
• Strong customer-facing experience; able to present to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of field support pre/post engineers; manage performance reviews and career development.
• Coordinate with Installation teams on infrastructure and systems projects (network, video, database, security).
• Oversee quoting, RFI, RFP, and engineering RFC processes; ensure compliance with prime contract.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, milestones, and technical requirements; coordinate with vendors.
