Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking an R&D Equipment Development Engineer for the Photolithography Track to drive development and optimization of track equipment and processes that influence yield and performance.

You will partner with global fabs and suppliers to bring next‑generation memory technologies to life. You will lead installation, qualification, and vendor engagements, analyze excursions, and push hardware from concept to high‑volume manufacturing while mentoring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
Experience with photolithography equipment development and maintenance expected.
Strong understanding of track processes and equipment control systems.
Experience fixing defects, uniformity issues, and process deviations.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Lead track equipment development and supplier engagements to meet roadmap requirements.
Drive installation, qualification, and optimization of photolithography track systems.
Investigate process excursions and implement solutions to improve yield and performance.
Develop and optimize track recipes to meet defect, cost, and throughput targets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to define equipment specifications and improve manufacturing alignment.
