Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Photolithography Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join our Technology Development team.

You will develop and integrate photolithography processes for next‑gen memory devices, working hands‑on with tools, materials, and layouts while applying AI and data analytics to shrink cycles and improve yields. You will collaborate across design, integration, manufacturing, and equipment vendors, document processes, transfer technology to production, and

Qualifications

MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar OR BS with 2+ years semiconductor lithography experience.
Experience in photolithography or semiconductor process development.
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate photolithography unit processes for advanced memory technologies.
Perform material evaluations, reticle/layout development, OPC, overlay optimization, and window analysis.
Drive yield improvement, failure analysis, and device performance optimization.
Partner with equipment vendors to evaluate tools and improve process capability.
Document processes, communicate results, and support tech transfer to manufacturing.
Leverage AI tools to advance process development.
