Job summary

MACOM, based in Lowell, MA, seeks a Photo Process Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team in sustaining and advancing photolithography processes in a high-volume wafer fab. This on-site role requires deep process know-how and strong cross-functional leadership to resolve yield issues and drive continuous improvement.

The candidate will manage engineers and technicians, own photolithography tools and processes, and partner with Operations, Quality, and Product teams to meet production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; 10+ years in wafer fabrication.
• 3+ years of direct people management leading engineering teams.
• Proven photolithography experience across multiple process modules.
• Strong SPC, DOE, Cpk, and yield improvement experience.
• Experience interpreting MES, FDC, and semiconductor data for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor photo process engineers and technicians.
• Own photolithography processes including steppers, tracks, and inspection.
• Develop and execute capital equipment strategies and qualifications.
• Drive RCA and SPC-based improvements to resolve yield excursions.
