Qualifications

• BLS Required.
• Two years of Laboratory experience. Required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred.
• Two years of phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of team training and assessments, check-ins, coaching, audits, scheduling, problem resolution and other pre-analytical tasks.
• Lead pre-analytical teams performing phlebotomy, specimen processing, waived/moderate testing, and related research.
• Act as liaison among services, nurses, clinicians and lab clients; participate in improvement projects.
• Fill in bench shifts and on-call; may serve as temporary supervisor during absences.
