Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in North Miami Beach, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead who will oversee daily PSC/IOP phlebotomy operations. The role requires coordinating with Supervisors, mentoring staff, and ensuring accurate specimen handling and timely data entry across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include leading specimen collection, monitoring quality, and collaborating with Sales, IT, Billing, and Logistics to support complex test orders.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Research test/client information and verify orders.
• Perform data entry and manage billing information when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and quality assurance records.
• Provide onboarding support and serve as a mentor to new staff.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
