Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support the pharmacy team in daily operations, dispense medications accurately, and ensure HIPAA compliance. You will lead onboarding of new technicians, participate in scheduling, and assist with vaccines and immunizations where permitted by state law, maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within Kroger.
• Completion of national and/or state registration, certification or license depending upon state requirements.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Proven attention to detail and stellar customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians and provide day-to-day training and support for pharmacy associates.
• Lead store-wide meetings/huddles and serve as primary representative for scheduling and department standards.
• Oversee inventory management including reconciling orders, returns process, and physical inventory preparation.
• Administer immunizations where applicable by state law.
