Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of pharmacy tech experience, meet state licensing requirements, and are proficient with MS Office. QS1 experience is a plus; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prioritize workflow of pharmacy technicians.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medication under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Prepacks for floor bulk medications; fill bottles and affix labels.
• Respond to questions or requests; direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
• Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Orders, labels, and counts stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies; verify quantities and note stock needs.
• Assists with special projects as needed.
• Minimal travel including occasional overnight stays.
