Job summary

Synchrony Pharmacy Louisville is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Kentucky. The pharmacist will prepare medications, verify orders, and ensure accurate labeling in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires ACPE-accredited education, a valid pharmacist license (NAPLEX/MPJE), and experience in a pharmacy setting. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office are preferred to support documentation and drug interaction checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assists in medication preparation by reviewing orders and weighing/mixing ingredients.
• Dispenses medications following policy, law, and labeling standards.
• Assesses medication identity, strength, and purity.
• Maintains records, inventories, and controlled substances logs.
• Directs technicians and verifies preparation and labeling.
• Uses computer systems to screen for interactions and duplications.
• Counsels patients and provides pharmacological information.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal drug laws.
