Option Care Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician Assistant to support prescription processing, equipment prep, and patient coordination under a licensed pharmacist in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and basic math, with training provided within 6 months and opportunities to grow within a nationwide healthcare leader.

Based in Tampa, FL, you will engage with patients and internal teams while contributing to efficient operations and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 0–6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (state requirements).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and basic computer proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials, equipment, and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies; stock and store materials.
