Job summary

Providence is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform duties under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. The role involves filling physician orders, assisting with immunizations and MTM as needed, and supporting specialized pharmacy services.

Strong customer service experience is required. Qualified candidates will hold a WA Pharmacy Technician License and have at least 2 years of pharmacy practice, plus 1 year of customer service experience.

Qualifications

Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
2 years experience (4160 hours) of pharmacy practice.
1 year customer service experience.
2 years experience for internal promotion candidate must be competent in responsibilities of Associate Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Technician; external candidates are required to have the equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Fill physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision.
Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele.
Provide support to specialized areas of pharmacy and serve as a resource/train other staff.
Perform record keeping and clerical activities under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
