Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to oversee order fulfillment and workflow. You will guide pharmacy techs, support Lean initiatives, and ensure quality in processing and shipping medications to patients.

The role requires Indiana licensing, strong communication, and the ability to train staff while managing workload and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required.
• 6+ months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily workflow in the pharmacy; step in to assist lead technicians.
• Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts within and outside the department.
• Support and train new employees and identify retraining needs for tenured staff.
• Understand and help manage inventory processes (cycle counts, new drug additions, reverse distribution).
• Other duties as assigned to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
