Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician in Elmhurst, IL. The role focuses on accurate dispensing, labeling, and coordinating shipments for specialty prescriptions to ensure timely delivery to patients.

The candidate will supervise workflow, train staff, and support process improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards. On-site work schedule is Monday–Friday, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Illinois state Pharmacy Technician license required.
• 1+ years Pharmacy Technician work experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to adapt in a dynamic environment and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Distribute workload and backfill as needed to meet productivity goals.
• Operate production equipment, change labels, clean printers, and stock materials.
• Act as a first-line resource for questions and issues within the team.
• Assist in developing and documenting policies and training materials for technicians.
• Provide on-the-job and group training to staff as needed.
• Cross-train team members to cover production functions.
