Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate processing, dispensing and shipping of specialty prescriptions at our Elmhurst, IL site.

The role requires 1+ years of experience, an Illinois license, and strong attention to detail. You will support training, SOP compliance and cross-training to cover production functions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Illinois state Pharmacy Technician license required.
• 1+ years Pharmacy Technician work experience required.
• General PC knowledge and e-mail abilities.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate heavy work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Distribute workload and manage resources within the assigned area.
• Operate production equipment and maintain printers, restock materials.
• Inform teams of equipment malfunctions and coordinate with supervisor.
• Provide training and mentorship to technicians as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and SOPs to meet productivity/quality goals.
