Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to lead medication dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services in a high-volume CVS Pharmacy location. You will partner with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliant operations, deliver exceptional patient care, and support the pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and maintaining inventory integrity while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager and coaching staff.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment by following proven workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Enhance patient experiences through empathy, collaboration with the healthcare team, and resolving insurance issues.
• Deliver immunizations and support technicians in immunization training.
• Manage pharmacy inventory with focus on cold chain products and compliance with regulations.
