Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to join our Retail team. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize where permissible, and lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications include an active Pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and not being on the DEA Excluded Parties list. The role requires regular attendance, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Taking direction from the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and directing the pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures.
