Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications accurately, counsel patients, immunize when required, and support the Pharmacy Manager in delivering compassionate care.

You will supervise the pharmacy team, ensure compliance with state regulations, manage inventory, and help improve patient outcomes while providing excellent service during all shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts and coaching the team.
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager day‑to‑day duties when acting as primary pharmacist‑on‑duty.
• Safely fulfilling prescriptions and ensuring workflow procedures are followed.
• Providing empathetic patient care and collaborating with the total healthcare team.
• Administering and supporting immunizations and counseling patients.
