Job summary

SG Healthcare and Pharma Tech, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy operations for infusion services.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and staff leadership in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of management experience and a proven track record in sterile compounding in accordance with USP , USP , and related regulations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of pharmacy management experience.
• Minimum one year sterile compounding with hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Experience with USP <797>, USP <800>, DEA, OSHA, and State Boards regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders.
• Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>.
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations.
• Review medication profiles for safety, allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and mentor staff pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain cleanroom, aseptic technique, and environmental monitoring standards.
• Manage quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and audit compounding, batch, quality, and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain and oversee inventory management and controlled substances.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff training.
• Lead and participate in staff meetings.
• Adhere to OSHA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Clinical Code of Conduct.
