Job summary

Omnicare, a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities, seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to join its leadership team in Washington. This full-time role includes supervising the dispensing pharmacy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The PIC will implement quality programs, manage licensure records, and coordinate with the General Manager to improve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Washington, active and in good standing.
• Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for the dispensing pharmacy.
• Monitor regulatory and compliance developments (e.g., Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA).
• Communicate and educate staff on regulatory changes and drug information.
• Implement quality assurance programs for pharmacy services.
• Maintain policies for procurement, storage, security and disposition of drugs and devices.
• Maintain licensure and registrations for staff as required by state law.
