Job summary

VPI Compounding Pharmacy in Centennial, CO is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead daily operations in a 503A compounding setting.

The PIC will ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP <795>, <797>, and <800> and mentor staff while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Competitive hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing.
• 3+ years of compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous PIC, supervisory, or pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, USP requirements, and compounding standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Additional state pharmacist licenses are preferred.
• Must be willing and eligible to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP <795>, <797>, and <800> requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and support pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
• Oversee prescription review, compounding practices, dispensing, and quality standards.
• Maintain pharmacy records, licenses, registrations, and training requirements.
• Partner with Quality, Production, and leadership to improve pharmacy operations and patient care.
