Job summary

STGi in Salisbury, North Carolina, seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to oversee clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial aspects of the pharmacy. The role ensures safe dispensing, compliance with laws, and strategic growth while promoting resident-centered care and community engagement.

The PIC will lead staff, optimize operations, manage inventory and third-party billing, and drive service expansion with a focus on quality and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Eligible to serve as Pharmacist in Charge per state regulations.
• Immunization certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy management systems and third party billing.
• Minimum 3–5 years of retail pharmacy experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws (DEA, HIPAA, CMS, Board regulations).
• Maintain licenses, permits, and inspection readiness.
• Oversee controlled substance inventory, documentation, and audit controls.
• Lead accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization programs.
• Direct daily pharmacy workflow, staffing, scheduling, and productivity.
• Drive profitability through revenue growth and expense management.
• Develop services and community outreach opportunities.
