Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure safety and compliance at every step of the patient journey.

You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to maintain quality, manage immunizations, and optimize workflow while upholding CVS Health policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the operating state.
• Valid NPI on file and able to use it for billing.
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

Responsibilities

• Attend the pharmacy schedule consistently, including nights and weekends.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and oversee staff during shifts as needed.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and label accuracy for patient safety.
• Provide immunizations and clinical services where permitted.
• Maintain inventory control and protect cold chain products.
