Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care in its retail pharmacy. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize when permissible, and coach pharmacy teammates to maintain safety and quality in every step.

As a CVS Health team member, you will ensure compliance with state boards, assist with scheduling, manage insurance issues, and contribute to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while upholding compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over time; pivot quickly between tasks to meet needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner; respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: effective verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and operate equipment as needed
