Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will model compassionate care, supervise operations, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing while collaborating with the patient’s healthcare team.

You will also provide immunizations, mentor technicians, manage inventory, and uphold all state and federal regulations to maintain a compliant, patient‑centered pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by providing compassionate, accurate patient care and counseling.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations and acting as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Ensuring safe prescription fulfillment, following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Delivering immunizations and coaching technicians to immunize where permissible.
• Maintaining inventory control with emphasis on cold chain products and regulatory compliance.
