Job summary

OWL Services is seeking an experienced Petroleum Heavy Maintenance Lead Technician to lead and execute complex maintenance projects on fueling systems at commercial and retail sites. The role demands independent field leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will manage projects from start to finish, coordinate with project managers and inspectors, and travel as required to assignments while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and thorough

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in petroleum service, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong working knowledge of fuel systems, including tanks, piping, and dispensing equipment.
• Proven ability to perform heavy maintenance tasks independently from start to finish.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in the field (lead technician or foreman level).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform heavy maintenance work on petroleum fueling systems at commercial and retail sites.
• Execute repairs and replacements including spill bucket, STP, containment sump, drop tube, and piping work.
• Diagnose system issues and develop field solutions with minimal guidance.
• Mobilize, manage, and complete jobs independently or with small crews.
• Maintain safety, environmental compliance, and accurate documentation.
