Job summary

Owl Services is seeking a Heavy Maintenance Lead Technician in Charlotte, NC to oversee complex fueling-system maintenance projects. You will lead field work, troubleshoot issues, and drive jobs from start to finish with minimal supervision.

The role requires 5+ years in petroleum service or related construction, strong fuel-system knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Travel as needed; competitive benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in petroleum service, maintenance, or construction.
Strong knowledge of fuel systems, including tanks, piping, and dispensing equipment.
Ability to lead field work independently from start to finish.
Read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform heavy maintenance work on petroleum fueling systems at commercial and retail sites.
Diagnose system issues and develop field solutions with minimal guidance.
Mobilize, manage, and complete jobs independently or with small crews.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and inspectors as needed.
Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, and material tracking.
