Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Petroleum Heavy Maintenance Lead Technician to own and execute complex fuel-system maintenance projects at commercial and retail sites. You will lead field work, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery with limited supervision.

This role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to advance within a nationwide service platform that supports maintenance, testing, and modernization of fueling systems across diverse environments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on petroleum service, maintenance, or construction experience.
Strong knowledge of fuel systems including tanks, piping, and dispensing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
Proven leadership experience in the field (lead technician or foreman).
Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform heavy maintenance work on petroleum fueling systems at commercial and retail sites.
Execute repairs and replacements (spill bucket, STP, containment sump, drop tube, piping).
Diagnose system issues and develop field solutions with minimal guidance.
Mobilize and manage jobs independently or with small crews.
Maintain documentation (daily reports, photos, material tracking).
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and inspectors as needed.
