Job summary

OWL Services is seeking an experienced and self-driven Petroleum Heavy Maintenance Lead Technician to join our team. This role leads and executes petroleum system maintenance projects at commercial and retail sites, delivering safe, high-quality field work with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on petroleum service experience, strong knowledge of fuel systems, and demonstrated leadership in the field. Travel is required, and OSHA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in petroleum service, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong working knowledge of fuel systems, including tanks, piping, and dispensing equipment.
• Proven ability to perform heavy maintenance tasks independently from start to finish.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in the field (lead technician or foreman level).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform heavy maintenance work on petroleum fueling systems at commercial and retail sites.
• Diagnose system issues and develop effective field solutions with minimal guidance.
• Mobilize, manage, and complete jobs independently or with small crews.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and inspectors as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, photos, and material tracking.
• Uphold jobsite safety standards, including proper PPE use and hazard recognition.
