Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Lead PET CT Technologist to oversee the PET CT department, ensuring high-quality imaging and strict adherence to protocols. You will train staff, schedule coverage, manage supplies, and support research initiatives while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB CT credentials, CNMT or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification, a VA license, and 3–5 years of PET CT experience plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiologic technologist in Virginia with state credentials.
• ARRT or NMTCB CT certification required; CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant PET/CT experience; 5 years preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor daily PET CT department processes per policies and regulations.
• Precept and train new PET CT staff; manage staff scheduling.
• Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supplies; monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, collect histories; perform PET CT across age groups; administer radiopharmaceuticals per guidelines.
• Ensure high-quality PET CT imaging and accurate records, including billing data.
