Job summary

Destination Pet LLC in Hilliard, OH is seeking a Lead Animal Care Attendant to guide daily care for our pet guests. You will lead shifts, coach teammates, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the care area.

Responsibilities include med administration support, supervising staff, and delivering feeding, TLC and grooming tasks. CPR training is a bonus; high school diploma required; evenings/weekends/holidays availability is needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in animal care
• Experience with medication administration
• CPR training a big plus
• High school diploma required
• Availability evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and set the tone for pet care excellence.
• Work with Animal Care Attendants to ensure safety, cleanliness and pet wellbeing.
• Train new hires on proper pet handling and procedures.
• Monitor pet guests for health, safety and general wellbeing; report issues to management.
• Provide food, water and daily TLC to every guest.
• Oversee meds and special needs guests; CPR-certified is a plus.
• Bathing and brushing our four-legged VIPs.
• Maintain a clean, cozy environment and manage operations as assigned.
