Destination Pet is hiring an Animal Care Attendant at Pet Palace Hillard in Ohio. This on-your-feet role involves caring for dogs and cats, cleaning enclosures, feeding, and monitoring pet well-being in a busy, friendly setting.

You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior kennel or animal care experience is preferred, joining a team dedicated to compassionate pet care and community.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prior kennel or animal care experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Hands-on, on-your-feet role in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and provide fresh water to pets.
• Monitor health and happiness of each pet guest.
• Report any unusual observations to management.
• Assist with brushing, bathing, and general grooming.
• Handle laundry and pet belongings to keep areas tidy.
