Jobot is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to lead our pre-litigation team in Naples, FL. This role focuses on evaluating liability and damages, and directing strategies to maximize settlements while guiding case managers and staff.

As a senior leader, you will oversee case progression, mentor colleagues, and coordinate with insurers, defense counsel, and clients to push matters toward efficient resolutions. Strong negotiation and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pre-litigation process, including evaluation of liability, damages, causation, coverage, and overall case value.
• Develop and implement effective negotiation strategies designed to maximize settlement outcomes.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers, adjusters, defense counsel, and other parties.
• Continuously evaluate case value as medical treatment, documentation, liability information, and damages develop.
• Provide strategic direction regarding medical treatment and documentation as appropriate to the facts and circumstances of each case.
• Oversee the progression of cases and ensure matters move toward resolution efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
• Direct the transition of appropriate matters from pre-litigation into litigation, ensuring files are properly documented and strategically positioned.
• Review and maintain detailed case notes and documentation within the firm's case management system.
• Collaborate closely with case managers and support staff to ensure files are accurate, complete, and progressing appropriately.
• Provide legal guidance on complex liability, causation, damages, insurance, and procedural issues.
• Serve as a primary legal resource for pre-litigation team members.
• Monitor team workflow, productivity, deadlines, and overall file quality.
• Hold team members accountable for timely case progression, responsiveness, and quality standards.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and development of pre-litigation staff.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service throughout the representation.
