Responsibilities

• Lead safety-focused team and promote Guardian Angel culture
• Establish and maintain effective communication within all operation areas
• Conduct regular safety, housekeeping and equipment inspections
• Apply all safety rules, regulations and procedures of the mine
• Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports
• Operate heavy mobile equipment
• Supervise, coordinate, or schedule team activities
• Train workers in equipment operation and safety procedures

Shift: 6:30am-5pm

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Lead Person at our surface operations in Lathrop, Missouri. This position is responsible for communicating standards of excellence, in the daily work assignments of the assigned team, to meet safety and production goals, as outlined by management.

Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel culture
• Establish and maintain effective communication within all areas of operation
• Conduct regular inspections for safety, housekeeping and mechanical issues
• Implement and apply all safety rules, regulations and procedures of the mine
• Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately
• Work in a team environment
• Operate heavy mobile equipment
• Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of team members
• Train workers in operation of equipment and safety procedures

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

Minimum Education Details

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience Required

• 4+ years related experience
• Valid US driver's license
