Qualifications

• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Collaborate with team members to repair moving machine parts.
• Lubricate machines and parts according to standards.
• Tend to equipment such as conveyors to move materials.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication activities as needed.
• Work in a team environment.
• Clean work areas.

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Lead Plant Maintenance Night Shift at our Columbia West Quarry in Columbia, MO.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools, chain falls, jacks or hoists
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Collaborate with team members to repair moving machine parts for equipment or transport materials between work areas
• Lubricate machines, machine parts or other equipment according to standards
• Tend to equipment such as conveyors to move materials through production processes
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Perform welding and fabrication activities as needed
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 4+ years related experience
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred
