UCLA Health in West Hills, CA seeks an experienced perioperative nurse with RNFA credentials to provide advanced intraoperative care as circulating, scrub and first assistant. The role collaborates with surgeons and the surgical team to anticipate needs and deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements include CA RN license, BSN/MSN, RNFA education/certification, CNOR, 2+ years RNFA OR experience, and BLS. Flexibility for required call and lifting up to 35 lbs is expected.

Competenze

• Current valid California RN License.
• BSN or MSN.
• RN First Assistant (RNFA) education/certification completed.
• CNOR Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of RNFA perioperative/operating room nursing experience, with complex procedures.
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Competency in circulating, scrubbing and first assisting.
• Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, anatomy and aseptic technique.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and team during complex procedures.
• Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and able to take required call.
• Ability to push, pull, lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to function independently in high acuity surgical environments.
