Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in L&D or completion of KP L&D course.
• Current California RN license and eligibility to practice in the state.
• Active Basic Life Support certification; ACLS and NRP preferred or required by hire.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required at hire or within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure accountability.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing plans using the nursing process.
• Ensure patient safety, educate patients/families, and comply with standards of practice.
• Document nursing care accurately and utilize digital systems for record-keeping.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
