Job summary

Augsburg University in Minneapolis seeks a Performing Arts Coordinator to lead scheduling, development, and production of events across the performing arts—on campus and off—serving as primary contact for Schwartz School of the Arts.

This .833 FTE, 10‑month position is benefits‑eligible, with two summer months off, and requires coordinating promotions, venues, contracts, and logistics with faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; college‑level education preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in the arts preferred; project management experience beneficial.
• Documented experience with budgeting and event planning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate promotion, ticketing, marketing, and event support for arts events.
• Maintain the annual performing arts calendar and coordinate scheduling with stakeholders.
• Manage complex event activities including juries, auditions, travel, and residencies.
