Job summary

Mercury Insurance seeks a Data Foundation and Analytics Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines, build analytical datasets, and establish metric contracts driving HR analytics.

You will own leader-facing dashboards, enable self-service with clear documentation, and measure usage to improve analytics products. Collaborate with People Leaders and data teams to translate insights into business actions.

Qualifications

• Design and maintain reliable data pipelines and analytical datasets from multiple sources.
• Establish metric contracts with clear definitions, calculation logic, and ownership.
• Own end-to-end delivery of leader-facing dashboards connecting people metrics to business outcomes.
• Design for self-service with intuitive personas, documentation, and feedback loops.
• Measure usage and trust to refine and expand analytics products.
• Conduct targeted analysis on attrition, workforce planning, performance, and AI-enabled work.
• Apply statistical methods, forecasting, and predictive modeling with appropriate validation.
• Translate complex analysis into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
