Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a strategic PFT Manager to lead the Pulmonary Function Laboratories across main campus and outpatient sites, ensuring excellent patient experience and clinical outcomes. The role requires 24/7 operational leadership, budget management, staff development, regulatory compliance, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years PFT experience; 4+ years supervisory; PA RT license with RPFT/RRT; neonatal/pediatric

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
At least five (5) years experience in pulmonary function testing.
At least four (4) years supervisory/leadership experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Respiratory Therapist license with RPFT/RRT credentials.
neonatal/pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee 24/7 department operations to ensure equitable, timely, safe care.
Ensure optimal patient and family experience and staff development.
Develop and manage annual operating budget and financial resources.
Foster a culture of safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration across disciplines.
Coordinate research activities in laboratories as needed.
