Job summary

A leading pediatric healthcare institution in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their team. This role offers the chance to work with children with complex pulmonary conditions and expand services in the community. The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, have experience in pediatric pulmonology, and be passionate about teaching medical residents. Qualifications

  • BC in Pediatrics from American Board of Pediatrics required.
  • Three (3) years post fellowship experience preferred.
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at employment start.
  • Graduated from an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency.
  • Completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric pulmonary fellowship.
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in PA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input on the growth of the department.
  • Respond to consult requests and perform procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive lung function testing.
  • Perform bronchoscopies and related procedures.
  • Conduct sweat testing to diagnose cystic fibrosis.
  • Administer and interpret lung function testing (spirometry, plethysmography).
  • Support noninvasive ventilation therapies (CPAP and BiPAP).

Job Summary

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Pulmonologist for our hospital campus in Philadelphia, PA. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the pediatric pulmonologist will play a key role in expanding services and enhancing the quality of care in the community.
